The subject of “Race”

I find the continued prevalence of the term race to describe people of differing ethnic backgrounds to be both humorous, and disheartening.

It is humorous because one would think people could grow up and be honest about the whole thing. There is only one human race, the rest is just environmental, and breeding. I suppose this is the result of religion working so hard to separate humanity from the fact it is just an animal.

Here is an example. I went to donate plasma not that long ago, and they took my information. When asked about my race I said Human, the girl gave me a funny look, so I asked if she was wanting to know my ethnic background. She said yes, so i said third generation Irish-American.
She gave me another look, and said “so… caucasian?” I said, yes but that’s my skin color.

Here let me really throw a log on this fire.

Humans are no different than dogs. There I said it, it’s finally out in the open.

Different groups of people are just like dog breeds. There are some things that come more naturally, and somethings that don’t in dog breeds, and the same can be said of human ethnic lines.

These tend to be called stereotypes, which can be hereditary, or cultural traits.

I find it to also be disheartening, because it is shameful to me that people still feel the need to try and separate themselves from each other in such strong ways. It isn’t enough to just have different colored skin, and have different physical characteristics.
They must be of a different race altogether.

Because fuck all forbid people acknowledge that we all have something so fundamentally in common as all being the same race.

To those that will becry this, I will point out a simple fact.

Humans can interbreed with no problem. And Like dogs the offspring have physical and hereditary traits from both parents, usually taking after the mother strongest, but not always.

Well I’ve said my peace on that topic, and feel free to leave comments insulting my mother,
bashing, flaming, arguing, agreeing, praising or worshiping as you see fit.
