What happened to land of the free home of the brave? What happened to liberty for all? When did the heart beat of America become greed?
Our nation was born out of rebellion. Rebels that defied their rulers in England and used gorilla war fare to win.
It was built on the spirit of progress, and looking to the future.
Our great grandfathers, grandfathers, mothers, daughters, sons, fathers and sisters have fought, bled, and died for those ideals.
Politicians spend more time looking for ways to get kickbacks than figuring out how to solve the countries problems.
Corporations are so interested in increasing their profit margins that they forgot there has to be a functioning economy to maintain them.
Republican and Democrat aren’t about who’s the right person for the job anymore, it’s about who can scare the most people into believing a line of bullshit that will keep them in office another term, so they can keep sucking us dry.
People don’t look to the future, they cower with their holy books in the shadows, looking to a past that offers nothing.
We send soldiers to die, then do nothing to help them when they get back.
The right are under-educated fear mongering fools that spout off about shit without ever bothering to find out any facts for themselves. The left are overly concerned with politically correct bullshit that isn’t important.
Where are the rebels today? Where is the spirit? Where is the fire of a nation dedicated to the ideal of being free?
What happened to America? Where did it go?
This isn’t America, not anymore. The founding fathers would be ashamed of what we’ve become.
I’m ashamed of what has been done to the dream, to the spirit of the country. It’s been bulldozed with dollar signs and back room deals.
This Government was intended to be up-datable, to be able to change with the times and to make sure the little demons had as hard a time as possible keeping a foothold.
Any politician that wants things to stay the same, mainly the right wing but not just them, is your enemy. The system is broken, and they keep getting richer, while we keep getting poorer. Things need to change.
